Yikes, It's Sunday Already!!!

How can it be Sunday already? It seems like just yesterday I was all excited that I had left work for a 3 day weekend. The last two days have been quilt shop hopping and I am exhausted!!! Who woulda thunk it right? I will post pictures from the shop hop later (during the Brewers game). I wanted to post so ya didn't worry that I got lost. ;0)

I did finish the Halloween table topper last night while watching the Brewers game. (I'll post a picture later.) Since the last couple of days have been really cool, frost on the ground in the morning and having seen so many Halloween fabrics/quilts during the shop hop, I've switched gears and decided to start on a project that I bought fabric for in 2005! It's called Snow Friends and it's from The Quilter magazine. The fabric is flannel and perfect for these cold fall days. I couldn't believe the amount of room it made in the closet. I had to laugh when I pulled the fabrics out because I bought a lot of fabric for this. Not all of it is called for in the pattern so I don't remember if I was thinking I'd make two of these or if I bought extra for the backing. I guess I'll find out when I get the blocks done. ;0)

I also was going to transfer my Nice People Nice Things to the fabric, but it didn't transfer. I'm not sure if my heat setting wasn't hot enough or what so I'll give it another try again later. I would like to work on it during the Brewers game as well.

I'm not getting anything done sitting on the 'puter, so I better get going. I've got laundry to fold and more rail fence blocks to make for Snow Friends.

On a side note, I'd like to thank the powers that be for the Brewers winning last night. Would it be too much to ask that they win today too so it would come down to the 5th game?!?! :0)
