No fabric added. Woohoo!! (Although I did buy the Merry Christmas to All patterns, and it was 50% off!!!)
I gifted 1-1/2 yards to a friend and used 1/2 yard for binding. I need to find a better system on how to report my "used" fabric. I keep forgetting what I've counted and what I haven't, but I also don't want to wait until a top is completely finished because I'm a "need to see progress" type person. I'll try to figure something by 2009.
My numbers to date:
- Fabric Added This Week: 0 yards
- Fabric Added as of Apr. '08: 270.5 yards
- Fabric Used This Week: 2 yard
- Fabric Used Year to Date: 79-1/4 yards

I picked up a small spiral bound notebook and it stays next to my keypad. Each week I start anew, and write down all purchases and busts. I tried doing an Excel file, but this turned out to be easier for me. I didn't have to log onto the computer to record something.
You made good headway this week on your busting! Here's to 2009! LOL

like you, i also need to see stuff going out and progress being made, so i count it as i cut it for the quilt.
i try to cut my leftover fabrics down at the same time, but those pieces go back into the stash so they aren't counted as out until i use them.
No order in my life--I used the back of an envelope and a pencil! I will kick it in gear the next few weeks nd get some stuff FINISHED. But I'm also glad to cut up scraps and turn them into tops. And the ticker for how long to sew yet this year--oh dear--the pressure is mounting!
