If You Build It, They Will Come

This past weekend and the last two nights we have been working on building a new goat house/storage shed. Now that we have three goats, their old house is no longer big enough. We bought a kit from Menards and "beefed" it up a little bit since the sheet metal was pretty flimsy. The goat area is 5 ft x 10 ft and the rest will be used for storing their food and hay and hubby's go-karts. We put all of it together in the (heated) garage except for the roof.

If it doesn't rain, this weekend we'll work on making their "grazing" area bigger and build a little wall around the goat door to block the wind/snow.
