Finally!!!

Finally the Project from Hell is out the door, on the truck, and GONE!!! We finished it around 5 p.m. on Sunday. What a relief it was to see it leaving the building. Since I had to work during my Thanksgiving weekend, I'm hoping to take off Friday so I can have a 3-day weekend.

First on the agenda is to get Hole in One quilted. I loaded the backing Saturday before I went to work. Last night I cut the batting off the roll and loaded the batting and top. I just need to wind some bobbins and I'm ready to get going. Funny, now that it's almost Christmas I keep thinking of things I could have made for people as gifts. Maybe I should write them down so I can work on them the other 11 months of the year. LOL

I also would like to work on my Cobblestone Lane BOM blocks and start Morning Splash, but I really should finish my log cabin blocks for He Loves My Daisies. It'll probably depend on what mood I'm in that day....cutting or piecing.

I'll also probably do some decorating for Christmas. Next weekend is cookie baking with my mom, step-sisters and nieces. I'll work on Christmas cards at work during lunch. Now that basketball season has started, the days are going to fly by.

IF there is time I'd like to go through some old computer stuff in the basement too. We have old computer games, printers, scanner and monitor that I wasn't sure what to do with. My BIL said he maybe could use some of it so I need to get it all gathered up for him to look at. Sure would be nice to get out of the house!

Last night I worked (or tried to) on my sweater. I really wanted to finish the back, but the instructions were a little confusing and I goofed up so now I need to think about what my next step will be.

OK, time to get off this computer and get busy!

Hooray!!! I'm so glad that project is done!! And I hope that this means a more relaxing holiday season for you!

From what you explained, I sounded like the pattern was confusing. I hope that you can get back on track with the sweater and that it works out ok!
