Another Pillowcase & BOM Progress

RainbowPillowcase-26Jan10I had the afternoon off since work is slow so I finished the rainbow pillowcase that I cut out last week.  This is one of those fabrics that I’m not sure what I was thinking when I bought it.  But it makes a nice, bright pillowcase!  This fabric is also used the backing on Square Dance.

I cut out the two blocks for Month #2 for Cobblestone Lane and half of Month #3.  Hopefully I can finish cutting #3 out by Thursday.  Then I’ll work on piecing them this weekend.

The weather is turning cold again and it is very windy.  It’ll be great sewing weather again this coming weekend.

Where I’m at with my goals for the week:

~ Finish adding the sleeves to my sweater
~ Quilt Square Dance
~ Continue working on Morning Splash (Judy's quilt-along)
~ Work on BOM blocks (Cobblestone Lane-2 mos. started cutting blocks; Apple Cider Medallion-2 mos.)
~ Finish rainbow pillowcase

Nice pillowcase!! And had I known that the BOM was from This and That.... I might have been swayed to do it! Good thing I didn't know and it's too late for me now! lol
