I added a kit this week, Sew Tweet from Connecting Threads. I just couldn't help it, the colors are so bright! I shouldn't have anything else coming in until the end of February/beginning of March, except my monthly FQ club. I have preordered a FQ bundle of Moda's Looking Back so I have to behave and bust some stash to offset the 11.75 yards (yikes).
I used fabric to finish Love is in the Air and two more pillowcases, plus I some fabric that I'm going to donate.
Here are my numbers:
~ Fabric Used this Week: 7.00 yards
~ Fabric Used YTD: 14.00 yards
~ Fabric Added this Week: 7.50 yards
~ Fabric Added YTD: 10.50 yards
~ Net Usage: +3.50 yards
Go to Judy’s blog and see how everyone else did this week
Goals for the Week:
I've been feeling a little overwhelmed with all of the projects going at once (which is a first for me...I usually like working on several different projects) so I'm going to focus of finishing some of them before I start anything new (at least that's my plan right now). I made a lot of progress yesterday with getting several pillowcases finished and getting several rows sewn on He Loves My Daisies. I can actually the top of the dresser now.
~ Quilt Patchwork Party
~ Finish knitting 2nd sleeve and assemble sweater
~ Finish 2nd Valentine pillowcase
~ Finish sewing He Loves My Daisies into a top

sounds like a good plan! Have fun sewing today :)
I saw that quilt (Sew Tweet) and I was tempted, too, but I was able to resist because I already have the fabric and the pattern picked out for my daughter's new bed quilt, lol.
I'm like you, I'm getting a little overwhelmed because I have several projects in the works, but I'm getting them finished slowly but surely.
I understand. I also feel like my house is more cluttered when I several projects going at once. I hope to get some of these WIPs finished soon.
I like your plan of picking certain things to work on. It really is easy to become overwhelmed. I constantly remind myself that this is a hobby and that the main goal is to have fun and be fulfilled. We're our own worst enemies at times! That quilt kit is sew cute! There's plenty of time to use up that stash. Have a great day!
Good numbers, considering! lol
I can't believe that you bought something! Was someone encouraging you to poke buttons? lol
I am trying to get some things off of my hope chest which is where all of my things sit when they are in progress or just haven't been put away. I'm making good progress this weekend! :)
I like the Sweet Tweet line too, but restrained myself to sale fabric and sale books! Have fun with the birds!
