I finally busted some stash this week!! I used 7 yards for Step Lively, which is from a shop hop in 2007. Last week I forgot that I used 1/2 yard for binding so that is added to this week's report also. NO new fabric added, but the Looking Back FQ bundle should be shipping in the next couple weeks.
Here are my numbers:
~ Fabric Used this Week: 7.5 yards
~ Fabric Used YTD: 37.50 yards
~ Fabric Added this Week: 0 yards
~ Fabric Added YTD: 13.50 yards
~ Net Usage: +24.00 yards
Comparing my numbers from a year ago, both of my totals are down. I'm a little disappointed that my used total is higher, but rather than starting new projects (except for this week) I've been working on finishing projects...so it's still a good thing.
Go to Judy’s blog and see how others did with their stashbusting this week.
Goals for the Week:
~ Bind Square Dance
~ Quilt Fall Back in Time
~ Continue working on Morning Splash (Judy's quilt-along)
~ Finish Step Lively top
~ Start sock #2

Finishes are more important to me than starting another project with several in progress. I know the more I start, the less I finish. You are using up the fabric, good job!
Amy, you're being too hard on yourself. Your numbers are great!
Looking good! That's all I can say!
Great job! Anything positive on the "busting" side of things is a win in my book!
Wow - great job with your stash - I am impressed.
Your numbers are good!! You aren't going crazy buying (except yarn) and you are forgetting that last year, you weren't spending time knitting! It's hard to compare numbers with the knitting thrown into this year. Just keep that mind. :)
