Thursday night we had our second toe up class. We learned how to do the short row heel. I started out doing good on the first part, but then messed something up. Super teacher Bobbi to the rescue! She bailed me out and got me to a point where I could continue without having holes or ripping it all out. We definitely gave her a workout trying to "read" our knitting, but she was a real trooper and extremely patient with us. By the time all of us left we were ready to work in the round again.
I just started doing the ribbing all the way around the sock. I'm looking forward to getting this one done so I can start it's mate.

How exciting!! A HEEL!!! Woo hoo!!!
Looking good!
It looks really good! My intention was to knit toe up socks but after reading through the books - I decided it would be easier to try cuff down first. I need to cast on the 2nd sock now.
