Speaking of next pair....I've chosen the yarn for my next pair of socks. It's Deborah Norville's Chili colorway. (Sorry for the blurry picture...for whatever reason the camera can't focus decent on yarn.)
Rather than cast on the next sock, I decided to work more on the Easy Breezy sweater today. It's difficult to see here, but I started the ribbing pattern that goes along the neckline. Hopefully it'll show up better after there are a couple more rows of it.
Quilting-wise, I cut more strips for Birdseye. The fog has finally lifted. It's still cloudy out, but warm. The lighting where I quilt isn't the best, so it's nice to quilt when it's bright outside. So maybe tomorrow I'll quilt Fall Back in Time (kind of appropriate since we are turning the clocks ahead tonight) since we're supposed to have sun.
The goats were roaming around outside today. Buddy likes jumping up on the spool. Zoey (who keeps getting bigger and bigger) likes walking underneath the top edge of the spool. Roxie is working on eating some of the new evergreen branches that I threw in earlier. You can see to the left and right of Buddy that they're also working on eating the bark off of the actual trees too, despite the fencing we had put up. Even better, you can see in the field behind them that there isn't much snow left!!! Although now we get to deal with......mud!
