Successful Sunday!!!

Today was a great day.  After it warmed up a bit, I went for a 2.5 mile walk outside.  It felt good to get outside.  I've been waiting for it to get warmer out so I can start my walking routine again.

I blew out the dogs after I got back.  Sonny is the perpetual shedder so I knew he'd had fur coming out, but when I went to blow Riley, he had quite a bit coming out too.  So I decided to give him a bath (which he seriously needed).  He's a handsome little boy again...just in time for his birthday next Sunday.  He isn't very cooperative when it comes to drying his ears, so they're air drying.  (I love how his eyes are closed on the last picture.  Like if he closes his eyes, I won't have the dang camera anymore....or maybe I'm boring him because he knows he's such a stud.)

The highlight of my day was that I made the heel on sock #2!!!  My first heel I managed to screw something up so I was a little worried about doing the second heel on my own.   But I took my time, and I had no problems (except almost purling a knitted row....head slap).  It turned out great!!!
