Latest Cast On

I ended up ripping out the Chili sock that I had started a couple weeks ago.  I messed something up on the heel and really wasn't liking the yarn so decided to start with a new project. 

So I grabbed Down the Rabbit Hole Classic (part of her Alice in Wonderland themed yarn) from Sunshine Yarns.  At first when it came, I wasn't too thrilled.  To me, it looks different than the picture on the website, but it's growing on me.  It makes me think of an alligator/crocodile, with all the the different greens and brown.  Don't ask me why or how it makes me think of that.  

I've also decided on the next sweater pattern.  I had thought about trying one with cables, but after practicing on some scrap yarn, I decided I should stick with knit and purl stitches for a bit yet.  The yarn has been ordered and hopefully will be here early next week.  I'll post a pic of the yarn and pattern when the yarn arrives.
