NASCAR Race Shops

Hubby, FIL and I flew down to Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday to watch the World of Outlaws Finals at the Charlotte Dirt Track.  On Thursday we checked out five NASCAR shops:  Michael Waltrip, Kasey Kahne, Dale Earnhardt, Jr, Stewart-Haas, and Penske. 

Of course, I also had to check out two yarn shops.  Found a set of size 2 circular needles so I can cast on the two at a time socks once I get some "quiet" time so I can concentrate on what I'm doing.

We had lunch at Lancasters BBQ in Mooresville.  We ate there a couple years ago and couldn't wait to go back.  Look at that chicken sandwich!  WOW!  The brisket was soooo tender.  All was very yummy.  I think if we lived near here, hubby would want to go there once a week.

Although it rained/sprinkled the majority of the day, they did get qualifying in for the World of Outlaws Finals.  Tonight is a regular race program with heat races and features.  It's going to be very cold tonight and tomorrow....thankfully we brought our long underwear!
