Not as much sewing/quilting this year, but there were many firsts...made my first pillowcase, took a sock knitting class, and taught myself how to knit shawls and sweaters.  I also got to meet Jill in person and took my very first trip to California.

I was also looking back at my stashbusting progress:

In 2008 I added 374.50 yards (and I first started counting in April).  That was a rude awakening.  In 2009 I added 238.50 yards.  Better, but still quite a bit.  This year, only 112.75 yards!  Now that is a HUGE difference from when I first started recording what I bought.

My usage has been pretty steady though, 102.25 yds, 163.75 and 120.25, respectively.  I'd like to see this number increase next year.  I'm sick of the clutter and really would like to get the fabric out of rubbermaids and in either the closet or the cabinet.  Hopefully with my new GO! cutter, that will help bust stash quicker.

I'm looking forward to a very exciting 2011.  There are several new techniques (quilting and knitting) that I want to learn/try and many projects that I look forward to working on....or getting back to.

I'm ready for the new year.....are you?
