On the Needles - 3/15/13

I'm still hanging out on sleeve island, but getting closer to hood haven.  I had hoped to have the sleeves done by now but was sick all last weekend, and I haven't quite figured out how to knit while I'm sleeping.  I've got about 11 inches left on the second sleeve.

Part of me wants to cast on something else, but I usually only have one knitting project going at one time.  Otherwise I'm afraid it might never get finished (like many of my quilting projects hangs head in shame).  Are you a monogamous knitter or do you have several projects on the needles at once?

Want to see what others have on their needles?  Check out Judy's post to see more knitted beauties.

monogamous - and at the rate I knit, they are LONG relationships! I must be the tramp of the quilting world, though....

I love your sweater!

In some of my knitting relationships I am monogamous, others I tend to have an occasional fling.

In quilting I am very bad. I not only carry on with several projects at one time, but I find myself dreaming of future fabrics and patterns, leaving previous loves waiting for my return!

your sweater is looking great. I usually have 2 or 3 knitting projects going at one. quilting is another story too many projects to much fabric and too little time

That is gorgeous!! I try to be a one project knitter but I usually keep a pair of plain Jane socks on the needles for working on in the car.

Your sweater is beautiful. I'm a one project knitter because I'm very slow, but on the quilting front, I have too many going at once and they don't get finished unless there is a penalty! Am trying to change though.

I am embarrassingly far from being a monogamous knitter- my current goal is to get below double digits.

Your sweater looks great!

Looking good.
I'm sort of a monogamous knitter. I start something and focus on it to get it finished, but will be ok about putting it down to knit something else that needs being made. Then, when I pick it up again, I'll focus on it until it's finished. Usually. However, I do have several pieces waiting for me to sew them up so I can finish them.

LOL to Regina's comment! I have a pair of socks and a sweater going. I shuold probably just finish the sweater, but all the sewing with yarn scares me! lol
