On the Needles - 7/26/13

I don't usually knit the same pattern twice, so it's even more surprising that I'd be knitting the same pattern back-to-back.  On Wednesday I was getting fidgety to knit something so I cast on another Hitchhiker. When I was trying to think of what I could knit, I suddenly remembered a gorgeous variegated yarn that I received from a friend for Christmas two years ago.  I had tried knitting another pattern with it, but I soon realized it wasn't a good fit.  Hitchhiker definitely will be a great match for this yarn.  I'll keep knitting on this until Camp Loopy Project 3 starts on August 1.

The yarn is Madelinetosh Sock in the colorway Shoreline.

I was thinking of doing another Hitchhiker back-to-back also, as it took me half the scarf to get really comfortable with the pattern. Yours is looking great!

I love this scarf. I love this design. I think I might be making more of this one too but not for a while.

I also don't do many patterns twice. I think this one is worth doing twice, lovely yarn!

That yarn looks great with Hitchhiker. It's a great pattern, isn't it?

You're right, that yarn is perfect for the Hitchhiker! It will be fun to see what project you've chosen for #3 with all that yarn...
