Shop Hop Friday

Friday is here and I'm going shop hopping to half of the shops in the SE Wisconsin Shop Hop!!! I was so excited I woke up at 2 a.m. and had a hard time falling back to sleep. Bad part of waking up early, now I still have to wait for several hours until the shops open at 10:00. I am taking the camera along so I hope to get lots of pictures of all the shops for everyone.

On a quilty note, I pieced the backing for Snow Wonderland on Wednesday. Sunday I plan on loading it to the frame. Wednesday I started a Halloween table topper using a pattern in a new book called Imagination (by GatheringFriends) which I bought from the Fat Quarter Shop. (Does FQS have a frequent buyers program??? *grin*) Last night I finished piecing the top. I'm really starting to get into making smaller quilty items for around the house in addition to the bed sized quilts I normally make. I hope to get the table topper sandwiched today and finished by Sunday. I'll post a picture when it's done.

On a sporty note, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let the Brewers get the bats going and get some runs tomorrow!!! We need a win!!!
