December Status Report

I accomplished more in December than I thought I would. With all of the holiday festivities I didn't make many goals. Here's what I did:
  1. Completed Winter X
  2. Made a gazillion (at least if seemed like it) over 100 pinwheels for Heritage
  3. Finished the Moroccan Spice top
  4. Made two PPS08 blocks
  5. Started making Happy Blocks for HeartStrings

Online sales proved to be a weakness for me this month. I ended up adding 50 yards of fabric in December. The majority of this will be used in projects that are waiting to be quilted or waiting to be started. So hopefully I'll be able to count it as OUT in the near future. This year I hope to drastically reduce my buying and concentrate on the projects that I have all of the materials in-house already. 2009 will be the Year to "Use It"!!! I've gotten a good start the last couple of days making a kid's quilt that I'm making for Project Linus, plus I've made several blocks for HeartStrings. Since my niece is just starting to quilt, I'm also going to gift a bunch of fabric that I don't like anymore. It'll be great practice fabric for her.

*****

Gratitudes: (I keep remembering this after I've already logged off.)

  1. A 4-wheel truck to get through all the snow we've gotten this winter.
  2. Being able to sleep in late and stay up late the last week.
  3. Having the internet and being able to meet so many wonderful people online.
  4. Finding a ditched Christmas tree on the side of the road for the goats to eat.

There you go - I like the idea of using it - I wonder if they make a *units* counter you could use to track yardage?? I might have to check that out!
