He Loves My Daisies is now a top! I added the borders yesterday, but wasn’t quite ready to attempt mitered corners yet. Tonight I worked up the nerve to work on the corners. The first mitered corner needed to be ripped out but the rest went better. Are they perfect, heck no, but for my first mitered corners I can live with them and they’re DONE!
The close-up picture shows the true colors of the top. It was difficult to get a picture of the entire top because this thing is HUGE! I was backed up against the wall to get this picture, you get the idea.
It really feels good to be getting some of these WIPs finished to the flimsy stage.
My goals for the rest of the week are:
~ Finish adding the sleeves to my sweater
~ Quilt Square Dance
~ Continue working on Morning Splash (Judy's quilt-along)
~ Work on BOM blocks (Cobblestone Lane-2 mos; Apple Cider Medallion-2 mos.)
~ Finish rainbow pillowcase

Looks fantastic!! Glad that you finally got it done!!
It's stunning. Well done on learning the new skill of mitring. It's not that scary really - says someone who rarely mitres LOL
Love and hugs Gina xxx
