Quilty Progress

I made more progress on Birdseye.  18 of 25 blocks are complete, 2 more are ready to be completed, 4 QSTs sets ready to be squared up, and one that I need to cut the light color.

Jill made me a small bag earlier this year for my sock knitting.  Since I started Melbourne, I have been thinking about making a bigger bag to hold my sweater knitting.  I had been eyeing up the new Margo pattern from Lazy Girl Designs, but then remembered I had purchased the Claire pattern last year.  Luckily it uses 7 FQs which is great because I can use one of  my monthly Moda FQ club packages.  After "shopping the stash", I decided I'm going to use the Blush fabric collection.  Not something I would normally choose, but I think it'll be cute.  I'm hoping to work on it next weekend when hubby is working.

Update:  22 of 25 blocks are complete as of this afternoon.

Oh, those blocks look great!!! Aren't you glad that you are pushing yourself to finish it and not let it become a UFO? ;)

And I think that Blush for a Claire would be prefect!!! I have the pattern, but never figured out what to use to make it! Love the Blush though!! I might have to look through my stash and see if there is something that I can use for one....
