Low Key Weekend

There hasn't been much to report this week.  Work was crazy because everyone was trying to get their stuff out before the holiday.  I was all excited about the temps dropping over the weekend and hoping that it would help my allergies, but I think it's made them worse.  It was very windy yesterday when we went to the fair.  At 66 degrees, it was great walking around weather though.  Of course, we had to check out the goats.  The little guy below looked like a mini cow with his markings.

The one thing I did do this week was wind this ball of yarn and cast on for my next shawl.  The pattern is 10 in 2010 shawlette (Ravelry link).  The yarn is Bugga by The Sanguine Gryphon in the Lubber Grasshopper colorway.

Hubby was hoping to go water skiing this weekend but it's going to be way too cold.  Other than going to races tonight, I think we're going to just have a low key weekend around the house.

Low key around the house sounds awesome!! I'm thinking that I am going to clean myself up and hit the basement to finish up this quilt! And grocery shop tomorrow morning. :)
