I got some cutting done this week. I started a new project which used 8.25 yards! That puts me at exactly 100 yards busted so far this year. Woohoo!!! Here's a little sneak peek of the new project.
Yesterday, I went to the local quilt show and hadn't planned on buying anything. Yep, you know where this is going. One of the vendors had a kit for a new eagle panel that just came out. I was thinking about making it for our neighbors as a "thank you" for animal sitting for us while we were on vacation. Hubby (who was along!) thought it was a good idea, so I grabbed it up. It's not very big, so I'm thinking of adding some blocks or more borders to make it bigger. I'll have to think about it a little.
Is it weird that I'm already thinking about NEXT year's goals....when we still have 3 months of this year left?!?!
Here are my numbers:
~ Fabric Used this Week: 8.25 yards
~ Fabric Used YTD: 100.00 yards
~ Fabric Added this Week: 4.50 yards
~ Fabric Added YTD: 92.25 yards
~ Net Usage: +7.75 yards
Go to Judy’s blog and see how others did with their stashbusting this week.

Great week for stash busting - and a project cut and started! Good luck with the panel quilt as well!
good job, Amy! can hardly wait to *see* the new quilt!
Cutting out is one of the hard things for me...I'd rather just sew. Great numbers!
I like the look of the quilt pattern you bought
Love and hugs Gina xxx
