For Christmas, hubby "bought" (I ordered it, he paid for it) me a GO! cutter. I had originally ordered it from Joann.com on Black Friday but they later emailed and said they were out of stock and my order was cancelled. I searched around and found it for $20 more at Bayside Quilting. They had also sold out but put my purchase on backorder. The package finally arrived the Tuesday before Christmas. I kept looking out for the mail lady because I knew she'd have to deliver it to the house since the package was huge. I was all excited until I saw the huge hole in the packing box. I thought you gotta be kidding me. I've waited this long and it's going to be broke! I took it out and thankfully that corner was where a huge piece of foam was. I haven't gotten a chance to try the cutter out yet, but hopefully soon!
My MIL bought me two dies (3" finished HST and 3" finished triangles in squares) and mom gifted me money so I ordered the winding ways and 4-7/8" (flying geese) dies.
I also received a Christmas gift from Jill, a homemade card, soft springy pillowcase and two skeins of sock yarn that she saw on my KnitPick's wish list.
The best Christmas gift I got though was my uncle. He had a heart attack on Christmas Eve and triple bypass surgery on Christmas Day. They said had he not gotten to the hospital when he did, he wouldn't have made it. He's been doing really good and hopefully will get to go home in the next couple of days. On a sad note, my cousin's husband passed away on Christmas. He had MS, so even though it's difficult for the family, he's in a better place now.
It's been an emotional holiday. I'll be glad when they're over.
