I finished my socks for the pooling challenge. The only part that pooled was the heel, but I LOVE them anyways. I used Size 2 needles with 54 stitches. The yarn is Lorna's Laces Solemate in colorway "Cool". The second sock I knit an additional 4 rows before starting the gusset and it fits much better. I also did the
Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off (JSSBO) for the second sock and it fits over my heel much better when I slide them on.
At the moment I don't have anything on the needles because I'm waiting for May 1st to cast on for MadMay. My plan is to knit a shawl and knit the Fjord hat that goes with the cowl I knit a couple weeks ago.
Visit
Judy's blog to find out what other's have on their needles.
Forgot to post the pattern name: I knit the toe-up pattern Ampersand (Upside Down). It is based on the original pattern Ampersand which is cuff-down. Both are free on Ravelry.
