After emailing back and forth with Regina about spring cleaning and Judy posting the UFO parade, I've gotten a little motivation to get some things done. This past week I pieced the last 2 blocks for Month 9 of Washington Medallion and today soaked the Creedence shawl for blocking.
Judy has also sent out a call for quilts that she and Vince will be taking to West, TX in the beginning on June. I pulled out some quilts that I completed a while ago that I'll be sending, but also pulled a couple flimsies (from my UFO list) that I want to work on getting quilted for either sending to Judy or for future donation.
- Block Creedence shawl - blocking
- Pick up in dog kennel (weather permitting)
- Mail quilts to Judy for West, TX
- Make backing for Recipe for Friendship flimsie (UFO list)
- Load Recipe for Friendship on frame (UFO list)
- Quilt Recipe for Friendship (UFO list)
- Make binding for Recipe for Friendship (UFO list)
- Bind Recipe for Friendship (UFO list)
- Wash kitchen floor (when rain is over)
- Finish Ampersand sock #2 for Judy's pooling sock challenge (currently working on heel turn)
- Cast on Fjord hat (after Ampersand sock#2 complete and after MadMay shawl; qualifies for MadMay if cast on May 1)
- Re-do button-band on Charleston Tea
- Photo newly acquired yarn for Ravelry
- Burn CD of pictures from baby shower (by 4/27)
- Prep fabric for Washington Medallion HSTs (UFO list)
- Make HSTs for Washington Medallion (last 4 blocks - Month 11) (UFO list)
- Piece last 4 blocks for Washington Medallion (UFO list)
- Cast on Cabernet shawl for Mad May (starts May 1)
- Go through boxes under quilt frame
- Declutter in bedroom closet

Looks like an ambitious week! We have Cub Scouts Monday, karate Tuesday and Thursday, and I need to close the deal on a whole bunch of online sales of Nathan's toys. In between all that I think I will sew (I take my knitting to karate- I do better if I keep my head down and don't watch)
You Can Do It!! Get To Quilting!!
