To Do List - Week of 4/21

After emailing back and forth with Regina about spring cleaning and Judy posting the UFO parade, I've gotten a little motivation to get some things done.  This past week I pieced the last 2 blocks for Month 9 of Washington Medallion and today soaked the Creedence shawl for blocking.

Judy has also sent out a call for quilts that she and Vince will be taking to West, TX in the beginning on June.  I pulled out some quilts that I completed a while ago that I'll be sending, but also pulled a couple flimsies (from my UFO list) that I want to work on getting quilted for either sending to Judy or for future donation.

  1. Block Creedence shawl - blocking
  2. Pick up in dog kennel (weather permitting)
  3. Mail quilts to Judy for West, TX
  4. Make backing for Recipe for Friendship flimsie (UFO list)
  5. Load Recipe for Friendship on frame (UFO list)
  6. Quilt Recipe for Friendship (UFO list)
  7. Make binding for Recipe for Friendship (UFO list)
  8. Bind Recipe for Friendship (UFO list)
  9. Wash kitchen floor (when rain is over)
  10. Finish Ampersand sock #2 for Judy's pooling sock challenge (currently working on heel turn)
  11. Cast on Fjord hat (after Ampersand sock#2 complete and after MadMay shawl; qualifies for MadMay if cast on May 1)
  12. Re-do button-band on Charleston Tea
  13. Photo newly acquired yarn for Ravelry
  14. Burn CD of pictures from baby shower (by 4/27)
  15. Prep fabric for Washington Medallion HSTs (UFO list)
  16. Make HSTs for Washington Medallion (last 4 blocks - Month 11) (UFO list)
  17. Piece last 4 blocks for Washington Medallion (UFO list)
  18. Cast on Cabernet shawl for Mad May (starts May 1)
  19. Go through boxes under quilt frame
  20. Declutter in bedroom closet

Looks like an ambitious week! We have Cub Scouts Monday, karate Tuesday and Thursday, and I need to close the deal on a whole bunch of online sales of Nathan's toys. In between all that I think I will sew (I take my knitting to karate- I do better if I keep my head down and don't watch)
