Yarn Report - Week Ending 12/20/13

Those darn sale emails! The other week I received an email that SpiritTrail Fiberworks was having a sale. Anne Hanson of Knitspot uses her yarn a lot so I decided to order some to see what the fuss was about. I was planning on using it for Alta (Ravelry link), but it's a little more variegated than it looked like on the photo. I may knit On The Grass (Ravelry link) instead. (Sorry, this picture is from her website. I was too lazy to photo the skeins I got.)

I also ordered 3 skeins of Blue Moon Fiber Arts Targhee Worsted. I've never knit with this yarn either, but they come in jumbo sized skeins (616 yards a skein). My order is still processing so I don't think the package will arrive before the end of the year. I will be recording them in the next report even if they don't arrive since it was bought in 2013.
