Design Wall Monday - 3/28

Canterbury Crossings is now a flimsie.

Since Canterbury Crossings was done (as far as piecing), I let myself start a new project.  Here is Tea with Betsy and Martha.  The cream and blue strips have been cut.

Small Spark

There was a small spark of sewing today.  I really wanted to start a new project this morning but my conscience took over and I chose to continue working on Canterbury Crossings instead.  I pieced the last sashing row and last two block rows, pieced all the rows together and added the first border.  There are three more borders to go and it'll be a flimsie.  THEN I can start a new project.

I really love the fabrics in this top and the color combo.  If I would have had more of this fabric, I would have made this a queen size because it would have looked lovely on our bed.

Half of my March UFO Challenge project is quilted.  I hope to finish it by Wednesday.

Canterbury Crossings is still on the actual design wall.

Design Wall Monday - 2/7

My February UFO Challenge project is Infinity Star.  I've finished 5 more blocks with only one more to go.  I hope to finish the last block and start on the sashing this week.  There really are 15 Infinity Star blocks on the design wall.  They are just layered because I didn't want to take down my Canterbury Crossing blocks.

Design Wall - 1/31

I made a little progress this week.  I cut out one scrolly thing for FIPP.  I gotta turn under the edges and hand-sew it on.

I started sewing the sashing pieces to Canterbury Crossing.

Design Wall Monday - 1/24

Ten of 12 Canterbury Crossing blocks are complete.  I have to finish two more blocks and then on to the sashing.

The finished knitting the body on Flint.  I have to finish the sleeves and i-cord.

I am almost done with the Winter Wonder cowl....just 4 more rows before I bind off.

Design Wall Monday - Jan. 17

I finished two Canterbury Crossing blocks.  Totally love the block colors.  I would buy a bolt of the blue fabric if it were still available.  Also on the design wall are ten Infinity Star blocks.

Yarn Confessional

I mentioned last week that I had more yarn coming.  Well, it's here!  This will be it for a while.

On the left is Sanguine Gryphon - Little Traveller in the Reykjavik colorway (3 skeins) and the two skeins on the right is Pandora in two separate colorways from The Woolen Rabbit.  I originally had ordered Reykjavik for the Sprossling cardigan, but the pattern is calling for me to make it a brighter (springy type) color, so that's why I bought 4 skeins of the Plucky Knitter pink yarn from someone on Ravelry who was destashing them.  I think Sprossling will look much better in pink!

Go to Judy’s blog and see how others did with their fabric stashbusting this week.
